The band all got together the other day and started playing their guitars. It was pretty cool. They took turns playing different songs, then they all hooked up their amps and really started to play. We had the stereo playing in the background and they did some cover songs from their favorite songs.
Gabe gave Carter some tips, and in the background the younger kids were having a mini-version of the Boom-Boom Huck-Jam on the skate decks as they launched into the grass--it's like the music was taking control of them!
Later, the band guitar tech 'Scott' came by to make sure the equipment was all in working condition. Luckily he seemed to know what he was doing. "He's been pretty consistent with our equipment--I haven't had to worry about letting him go" said band member Gabe Alexander. It was a mini-concert in the neighborhood!
